MANDATORY EXPOSURE & TESTING REPORTING 

It is very important that we keep track of any student who has personally tested positive for COVID-19. Please click the button below below to report any exposure or positive testing so that we can fulfill our responsibility to let students who may have been exposed at the studio know of that risk. This information will also allow us to determine your required studio exclusion period. We will keep all exposures and positive test reports ANONYMOUS to protect the privacy of students and their families. This is a mandatory procedure for all parents, volunteers, employees and students of MDM and we thank you in advance for helping us keep our studio as safe as possible!

PARENT DROP OFF PROCEDURES

PLEASE DROP OFF NO EARLIER THAN 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS

  • All students will be dropped off through the drive through line at the old/main building.  See maps and images below for drive through process.

  • After being dropped off, students will walk to the building in which their first class takes place, wash their hands and go directly to their classroom where their temperature will be taken in the classroom.

AFTER DROPPING YOUR STUDENT OFF,

YOU MAY DRIVE AROUND AGAIN AND PARK IN THE PARKING LOT IF YOU PLAN TO STAY DURING THEIR CLASS TIME.

PARENT PICK UP PROCEDURES

​

  • Students 9 and under must have a parent pick them up at the door.

  • Parents can park and form a line outside in the "Pick Up" line.

    • Old building: South side of the entry doors

    • New building: West side of the entry door

  • Students will wait on marked dots in the studio lobby as they wait to be dismissed to their parent; one by one.

  • Students 10 and up will be dismissed into the parking lot to find their parent. It is not necessary for parents of older dancers to pick them up at the door.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A FEVER IS DETECTED?

ALL students , staff members, and volunteers must have a temperature check prior to being admitted to class. If a fever of 99.4 or higher registers on any person, the following procedures will take effect:

  • The individual will be asked to sit in a dressing room for a few minutes and then the temperature will be retested.  If the retest is normal, they will be allowed to continue with the steps of sanitizing and proceed to his/her studio location or volunteer position.

  • If a student continues to register a fever, a parent will be notified to come and pick him/her up as soon as possible, and we will keep the student quarantined until a parent arrives.

  • If an adult continues to register a fever, they will be asked to leave the studio immediately.

  • All spaces will be thoroughly sanitized after a person with a fever has left.

IT IS CRITICAL THAT PARENTS LOG INTO THEIR PARENT PORTAL AND MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE AN ACCURATE PARENT MOBILE NUMBER RECORDED IN THE PORTAL.
